Fixture Check
We confirm the mounting type, box rating, and wiring configuration before starting — no surprises mid-job.

Safe Disconnect
Power is switched off at the breaker. Existing fixture is removed and wiring is inspected.

Install & Connect
New fixture is wired, mounted, and secured properly. Junction box is upgraded if needed.
04
Test & Clean
Power is restored, fixture is tested, and the area is cleaned up. Done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an electrician for fixture replacement?
In Ontario, replacing a like-for-like light fixture does not require a licensed electrician. If new wiring, new circuits, or panel work is involved, a licensed electrician is required. We're upfront about what we can and can't do.
Can you install a ceiling fan where there's currently a light?
Yes, if the existing junction box is fan-rated. If it's not, we replace the box with a rated one before installing the fan. We always check this before assuming it's a simple swap.
Can you install pot lights?
We can replace existing pot lights and do simple pot light installations in accessible ceiling spaces. For pot light installations requiring new wiring runs or panel connections, we coordinate with a licensed electrician.
Can you replace all the fixtures in a rental unit in one visit?
Yes — we prefer to do all fixture work in a single visit for efficiency. Let us know the number of fixtures when you book and we'll come prepared.
Do you supply the fixtures or do I?
Either. Many clients purchase their own fixtures and we install them. We can also source fixtures if you'd prefer.
